Sweet Spot Artisan Ice Cream - Davao

The luxurious taste of freshly made artisan ice cream is hard to beat! That is why at Sweet Spot Cafe, a lot of people crave for that cold, creamy goodness any time of the day or year!

What is Artisan Ice Cream?
Quite simply,
artisan ice cream is ice cream made by an artisan which the dictionary definition of artisan being a ‘skilled craftsperson’. Delving a bit deeper in to the dictionary tells us that a crafts-person is someone who makes things skillfully by hand.

Artisan ice cream producers are able to be ‘hands on’ as they make smaller batches of ice cream that will be sold and eaten in as short a time as possible, so they remain as ‘fresh’ as ice cream is supposed to be.

These artisans also use processes and machinery that need the ‘human touch’ be it in choosing and mixing the ingredients or keeping a close eye on the freezing to make sure the ice cream is of the smoothest, highest quality possible.

Why Sweet Spot?

Davao, Diving and Maxima Aquafun Beach Resort

Maxima Aquafun's Famous Water Slide

The best thing about Davao City is that it naturally embraces the outdoors along with its urban lifestyle feel. Its advantageous location boasts of being typhoon-free and being a tourist recreational hub. One of the most sought after destinations would be the beaches off the city shore at Island Garden City of Samal. Although it is considered as a distinct city from Davao, it shares its strong cultural ties, adventure and love for fun aquatic activities.
